India, March 13 -- Utpal Parrikar said the outcome of the City Corporation of Panaji (CCP) elections was shaped by multiple factors, including ward redrawing, the reservation process and the limited time available for campaigning.
Speaking after the results were declared, Parrikar acknowledged that the panel he supported, We Panjekars, lost the election but stressed that several candidates were defeated by narrow margins. According to him, the results reflected a closely fought contest in many wards rather than a one-sided outcome.
