US Launches 10th Straight Night of Strikes on Iran as Hormuz Conflict Escalates
Goa, July 21 -- The United States military carried out its 10th consecutive night of airstrikes on Iran late Monday, intensifying efforts to restore security in the Strait of Hormuz amid escalating hostilities between the two countries.
According to US Central Command, the latest strikes were aimed at further weakening Iranian military capabilities allegedly used to target commercial shipping in the strategically vital waterway.
The renewed military action follows the death of another American service member and comes after Iran reportedly launched attacks on US allies Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, which hosts the US Navy's Fifth Fleet.
