Goa, June 21 -- US Vice President JD Vance arrived in Switzerland on Sunday for the formal start of negotiations with Iran over Tehran's nuclear programme and the implementation of a fragile interim peace agreement. The Iranian delegation is led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The talks follow last week's framework agreement, launching a 60-day period to finalise technical details that could have significant implications for global security and the world economy. Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, credited as a key mediator, has also joined the discussions.
