Goa, Nov. 4 -- Union Minister Ramdas Athawale stated on Wednesday that Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MP Supriya Sule could be considered for a Union Cabinet position in an upcoming expansion, provided her party decides to join the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Speaking to reporters in Thane, the chief of the Republican Party of India (RPI)-a key NDA constituent-expressed enthusiasm about the potential alignment, noting that welcoming Sule into the alliance would be a positive development.
