Goa, Nov. 1 -- Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has announced key tourism development proposals for Goa. These plans include incorporating select locations into a nationwide initiative designed to develop 50 global-standard tourist destinations.

During a press conference at the BJP regional office, Shekhawat noted that a proposal for a grand convention centre in Goa is currently under consideration. Additionally, he mentioned that the proposed Interpretation Centre in Old Goa could be relocated if the state government identifies a suitable alternative site.
