Goa, May 11 -- An unidentified man, aged between 35 and 40, was found dead after being run over by a train at the Caranzol yard at approximately 4.55 am on Sunday. The Deputy Station Manager of Caranzol pro vided the information, re porting the incident based on the loco pilot's account. According to police, officials found the body severely mutilated during the inquiry. The head was lying on the railway track, while the rest of the body was found nearby.

Preliminary findings suggest the man may have been hit by a moving train while walking or crossing the tracks. Police conducted a panchanama and inquest proceedings at the spot. The body has been preserved at South Goa Dis trict Hospital, Margao, for further medico-legal formalities. PS...
