Goa, Sept. 14 -- An unidentified man was killed after being struck by a train while allegedly crossing a railway track with his bicycle.

The incident was reported in Goa, following which personnel from the Konkan Railway Police shifted the deceased's body to the morgue at South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao.

Police recovered a mobile phone from the deceased and are examining it as part of efforts to establish his identity.

Further investigation is underway, with police working to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the deceased.
