Goa, June 30 -- Motorists across the United Arab Emirates will receive welcome relief as petrol and diesel prices are set to fall from July 1, ending four consecutive months of fuel price increases. The revised rates were announced by the UAE Fuel Price Committee and reflect easing global crude oil prices after weeks of volatility linked to tensions in the Middle East.

Under the new pricing, Super 98 petrol will cost Dh3.40 per litre, down from Dh3.95 in June. Special 95 petrol has been reduced to Dh3.29 per litre from Dh3.83, while E-Plus 91 will now be priced at Dh3.21 instead of Dh3.76 per litre. Diesel has recorded the biggest reduction, dropping from Dh4.33 to Dh3.60 per litre, a decline of 73 fils.
