Goa, July 22 -- Two trucks travelling in opposite directions collided head-on near Kesarlock Cross in Anmod around midnight, leaving both drivers seriously injured.

According to reports, one truck was heading towards Goa while the other was travelling from Goa when the collision occurred. The impact of the crash caused extensive damage to both vehicles.

The injured drivers were rescued from the mangled trucks and shifted to a hospital in Belagavi, where they are undergoing treatment for serious injuries.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, and further investigation is underway.
