Goa, Sept. 16 -- A two-stage NEET, a permanent statutory national examination authority and independent audits of exam standards are among the suggestions submitted to the Centre's High-Powered Task Force (HPTF) on public examination reforms.

The proposals were submitted by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), United Doctors Front (UDF) and Educators Federation of India after the six-member task force, led by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, invited inputs on strengthening India's examination system.
