Goa, July 6 -- Two motorcyclists sustained serious injuries after their motorcycles collided head-on on the main road at Sonfator in Curchorem on Monday.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred when the two motorcycles crashed into each other with significant force, leaving both riders critically injured.

Local residents and bystanders rushed to the scene and alerted emergency services. The injured riders were shifted to Curchorem Hospital for immediate medical treatment.

The exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined. Police are expected to investigate the circumstances leading to the collision and ascertain whether factors such as speeding or negligent riding contributed to the crash.
