When The Bangalore Men had their first rehearsal in the library at the Bangalore School of Music in 2016, there were just nine members. At the time, headed by founder and conductor Jonas Olsson, the choir performed Simply Schubert programme in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore and Goa. Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda took them to Bangalore, Kochi, Trivandrum and New Delhi; and Cathedral Windows eventually brought them to the Monte Music Festival in Goa in 2018. They have sung Beethoven's Ninth, Mozart's Requiem, worked with orchestras and international choirs and performed at venues such as NCPA Mumbai. But, the concerts are only part of the story.
