Goa, June 26 -- Two accused who had been absconding in connection with the assault and murder of 60-year-old Krishna Naik have surrendered before the Colvale Police, officials confirmed.

The accused have been identified as Stephen Paul and Shravan Shetkar. Police said both surrendered before the investigating team after remaining on the run following the incident.

The case relates to the alleged assault and subsequent murder of Krishna Naik in Colvale. With the surrender of the two accused, the investigation is expected to gather further momentum as police continue their probe into the circumstances surrounding the crime.
