Goa, June 14 -- US President Donald Trump said the Strait of Hormuz will be "open to all" immediately after a proposed Iran peace deal is signed, as negotiations moved closer to a possible breakthrough. The agreement is expected to be discussed at the G7 summit, where international efforts to clear mines from the strategic waterway may also be raised. The UK and France have signaled support for demining operations if fighting pauses further.
Pakistan, which has played a mediating role, said the deal could be finalized within 24 hours and then signed electronically.
