CUNCOLIM, Sept. 25 -- A truck carrying crushed stones overturned at Kital after its driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle amid heavy rainfall.

The driver sustained injuries in the accident and required immediate medical attention. However, locals alleged that an ambulance was not available when emergency services were contacted. The injured driver was subsequently taken to hospital in a private vehicle.

The incident has once again raised concerns among residents over the availability of emergency ambulance services in the Cuncolim constituency.
