Goa, May 11 -- The Executive Engineer of Division-VII (NH), PWD Panaji, has announced the temporary night closure of the New and Old Mandovi bridges on May 14 and 15 to undertake repair work on expansion joints and bearings. During the closure period, heavy vehicles will be diverted via Atal Setu, while light vehicles will use the alternate Mandovi bridge route. Authorities have urged commuters to cooperate and follow traffic diversions to ensure smooth movement and avoid inconvenience during the scheduled maintenance work aimed at improving bridge safety and infrastructure reliability.
