Goa, June 8 -- Motorists travelling through Santa Cruz are advised to plan their journeys accordingly as a section of the road has been temporarily closed to facilitate excavation and road improvement works.

The ongoing construction has resulted in a deep trench being dug across a substantial portion of the roadway, rendering the stretch unsafe for vehicular traffic. Authorities have restricted access to ensure the safety of commuters and workers at the site.

Drivers are urged to use alternative routes to avoid congestion and delays in the affected area. Commuters are also advised to exercise caution while travelling near the construction zone and follow traffic diversions put in place by the authorities.
