Goa, Oct. 27 -- The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has renewed its plea to Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, urging him to postpone or relocate the INDIA bloc's November 1 mega-rally at Ramlila Maidan. Expecting 10 lakh protesters and up to 20,000 vehicles, traders fear severe traffic gridlock and potential loss of Rs.10,000 crore during the peak Diwali shopping season.

Despite Gandhi's stance that protests will continue until Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is removed, CTI proposed moving the event to alternative venues like Burari Grounds or Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to protect local businesses.
