Goa, May 3 -- Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continued their dominance in IPL 2026 with a convincing 8-wicket win over Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 44, extending MI's losing streak to three consecutive games. While Hardik Pandya & Co. struggled with the bat, Tilak Varma also found himself at the centre of an unusual on-field moment.
MI, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, lost Will Jacks early. A steady 58-run partnership between Ryan Rickelton and Naman Dhir briefly stabilised the innings before Rickelton was dismissed by Noor Ahmad.
