Goa, June 5 -- Losing a job can be a major setback, but for one former Oracle software engineer, it became an opportunity to reinvent their career. In a Reddit post that has attracted widespread attention, the engineer revealed how they secured three job offers within 45 days of being laid off and eventually landed a role as an AI engineer.

The engineer said they were among thousands of employees affected by Oracle's reported workforce reduction on March 31. Rather than dwelling on the setback, they immediately shifted focus towards learning new skills and preparing for interviews.
