Goa, Aug. 5 -- The Avedem-Cottombi Goval Village Panchayat has raised serious concerns following the third leopard attack on cattle in the village, urging the authorities to take immediate steps to prevent further incidents.

The latest attack, in which a cow was killed by a leopard, has heightened fear among residents, who say repeated attacks have created an atmosphere of anxiety despite earlier appeals for preventive action.

Villagers said they are living in constant fear, particularly at night, as the possibility of further attacks on livestock and even humans cannot be ruled out. Farmers, many of whom depend on cattle for their livelihood, have suffered repeated losses due to the attacks.
