How many of us truly know what happens to the waste that leaves our homes every morning? We throw trash into the bin, the sanitation collector picks it up, and then it vanishes from our view. Where does it go? Is it segregated? How is it trans ported? How much of it is genuinely processed, and what fraction ends up fester ing in a landfill?
