Goa, Aug. 13 -- A tense situation unfolded at the Sanguem Police Station when Meshu D'Costa appeared for an enquiry in the PWD office locked case, accompanied by his advocate and party workers.

An argument broke out after Police Inspector Ditendra Naik allegedly asked D'Costa to leave the office. D'Costa reportedly became aggressive, following which a verbal clash also started between his supporters and police personnel. The situation further escalated when Police Sub-Inspector Krishnadeep Borkar allegedly pushed D'Costa's advocate. The confrontation was later brought under control after intervention by those present.
