Goa, Oct. 26 -- Following an hour-long hearing, the High Court ordered the Town and Country Planning Department's Chief Town Planner to conduct a joint site inspection of a casting yard alongside petitioners and their counsel. The team will evaluate the ongoing work, verify if such operations are legal within a settlement zone, and check for mandatory permissions. The TCP must submit its observations accompanied by photographic evidence. Represented by Advocates Om D'Costa and Malisa Simoes, the petitioners await further proceedings, with the next court hearing scheduled for Wednesday at 12 noon.
