Goa, Aug. 20 -- Noel Tata, Trustees Meet to Navigate Tata Sons Succession Plan

Tata Trusts Chairman Noel N. Tata, trustee Darius J. Khambata, and former HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh held an informal meeting at the Taj Wellington Mews Residences in Mumbai to initiate discussions on the succession framework for Tata Sons. This high-level dialogue follows N. Chandrasekaran's decision to conclude his tenure as Chairman. Having led the group since 2017 following a stint as CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, Chandrasekaran will remain in office through the end of his term on February 20, 2027. The focus has now turned to appointing a successor and managing a smooth leadership transition for the conglomerate's primary holding company.
