Goa, April 7 -- In a major shake-up in Bangladesh cricket, former captain Tamim Iqbal has been appointed president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) following the controversy surrounding the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.The Bangladesh government decided to dissolve the existing board after a five-member inquiry panel confirmed allegations of political favouritism, malpractice, and abuse of power within the organisation.
