Goa, Sept. 9 -- Tamil Nadu's ruling alliance, led by Chief Minister Vijay's TVK, has been named the 'Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance'. The name was announced on Wednesday following an alliance partners' meeting chaired by Vijay at the TVK headquarters in Panaiyur.

The meeting, the second major gathering since the post-poll coalition formed the government, focused on formalising the alliance structure and addressing key issues, including deciding an official name for the combine. However, leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Communist Party of India, which support the government, were absent from the meeting.
