Goa, June 2 -- Residents of Talsai in Sanguem have alleged that statements made by MLA Subhash Phal Dessai regarding the village's water situation are inaccurate. The villagers claimed that a report published by Herald reflected the actual ground reality and presented the facts as experienced by local residents.

According to the villagers, several children fell ill after consuming water supplied through the well pipeline. As a result, many families began storing water in tanks for household use and for their children's safety. They alleged that during a recent visit, the sarpanch drank water from one such storage tank instead of consuming water directly from the well pipeline.
