Goa, May 25 -- Pramod Narvekar, a resident of Surl village, has alleged that the "Acrux Marketing" cold beverage processing plant and its associated warehouse are continuing operations illegally along the main highway despite repeated notices issued by the local Gram Panchayat.

According to Narvekar, several complaints were submitted to the Gram Panchayat regarding the project, following which a show-cause notice was reportedly issued to the establishment around four months ago. He further stated that a final notice was served in February, but the company allegedly ignored the directives and continued operating the facility.
