Supreme Court to Hear Twisha Sharma Death Case Amid Allegations of Institutional Bias
Goa, May 25 -- The Supreme Court of India is scheduled to hear the death case of model and actor Twisha Sharma today, following allegations of institutional bias and irregularities in the investigation surrounding her death.
Twisha Sharma was found hanging at her matrimonial home on May 12, just five months after marrying lawyer Samarth Singh.
The matter will be heard by a Supreme Court bench headed by Surya Kant along with Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Vipul M Pancholi.
The case has been listed under the title, "Alleged institutional bias and procedural discrepancies in the unnatural death of a young girl at her matrimonial home."
