Goa, Sept. 3 -- Students at a Government Higher Secondary School boycotted classes and staged a protest on the school premises following the transfer of some teachers working on temporary contracts.

The students raised slogans demanding justice and called for the teachers to be reinstated or their concerns to be addressed. The protest saw students gathering on the premises and chanting, "We want justice."

The transfer of the teachers has reportedly caused concern among students, who said their academic interests could be affected by the changes.
