Stray Cattle Continue to Pose Safety Risk at Panaji's Church Square
Goa, July 18 -- Stray cattle continue to create traffic and safety concerns at Church Square in Panaji, with several animals seen grazing and resting on the landscaped traffic island opposite the iconic Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. The location, a major attraction for tourists and a busy junction for commuters and public transport, has witnessed repeated complaints over the issue. Daily travellers have expressed fears that the unattended cattle could lead to accidents and traffic disruptions. Residents have urged the Corporation of the City of Panaji to immediately remove the animals and ensure public safety.
