Goa, June 3 -- Prominent Scheduled Tribe (ST) leaders in Goa have urged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership to ensure reservation for Scheduled Tribes in the Goa Legislative Assembly before the upcoming state elections.

In a letter addressed to BJP Goa President Damodar Naik, senior ST leaders including Ramesh Tawadkar, Govind Gaude, Antonio Vas, Prakash Velip and Vasu Meng Gaonkar called for immediate action on the long-pending demand for political reservation of Scheduled Tribes in the state legislature.
