Goa, May 11 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said Old Goa is witnessing a visible transformation in spiritual tourism, with visitors now exploring both churches and temples in the heritage region. He stated that while tourists earlier mainly visited Old Goa for its historic churches, an increasing number of devotees are now also visiting the Goveshwar Temple. According to Sawant, this changing pattern reflects a broader shift in Goa's religious and cultural tourism landscape. He said the growing interest in multiple spiritual sites highlights the evolving identity of Old Goa as a destination attracting pilgrims and tourists from different faiths and backgrounds.
