Goa, Oct. 8 -- Residents of Sonshi in Honda, Sattari, have appealed to the Honda Village Panchayat to construct a proper tar road leading to GPS Sonshi, citing persistent problems caused by the poor and obstructed access route.

In an application submitted on September 29, the villagers alleged that V. G. Quenim Mine has been repeatedly obstructing and closing the road leading to the school.

The residents said the obstruction has affected the transportation of Mid-Day Meals and essential school supplies, with vehicles unable to reach the school premises. As a result, villagers and school personnel are reportedly forced to carry the materials manually.
