Goa, July 21 -- Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were detained by Delhi Police on Tuesday after leading a protest outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence over the alleged police action against student protesters. The demonstration, organised by the Congress, witnessed several party MPs and workers marching towards Lok Kalyan Marg before police intervened.

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, was detained and taken to Delhi's Chhatrasal Stadium along with several Opposition leaders. Visuals showed a police bus carrying Rahul and other leaders from the protest site after they were stopped by security personnel.
