Goa, Aug. 7 -- Education reformer and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has claimed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not respond to a proposal that could have helped bring his hunger strike to an end.

Wangchuk alleged that despite efforts to find a resolution, Rahul Gandhi ignored the plan, preventing any progress towards ending the fast. He did not elaborate on the reasons for the alleged lack of response.

The activist's remarks come amid ongoing discussions surrounding his protest and demands, which have drawn national attention. Wangchuk has been seeking action on issues concerning Ladakh, including constitutional safeguards and greater protection for the region's environment and identity.
