Goa, April 7 -- Anjuna Police have successfully solved a house theft case reported from Oxel, Siolim, arresting a 35-year-old man identified as Akhilesh, originally from Uttar Pradesh. The case was registered after Akash Vidhyadhar Narvekar reported the theft of his Redmi 10 Prime phone worth Rs.15,000 from his residence during the early hours of April 5. Acting on specific inputs and sustained investigation, police traced and apprehended the accused. During a search, six mobile phones of different brands were recovered from his possession, suspected to be linked to multiple recent thefts. The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway under the supervision of senior officers handling the case.
