Shubman Gill Stresses Need for 7-10 Days' Preparation Before Tests
Goa, Aug. 14 -- India captain Shubman Gill on Friday reiterated his concerns over the team's packed cricket schedule, saying players need at least seven to 10 days of preparation before the start of a Test series. Gill said the preparation window becomes even more important for the current Indian squad, which includes several players with limited experience.
"If the scheduling allows us to have at least a week or 10 days before the Test match starts, it obviously helps with the preparation," Gill said at a press conference ahead of India's first Test against Sri Lanka.
