Goa, Oct. 29 -- Shubman Gill joined India's T20 team training session in Auckland on Thursday, October 29, ahead of the fourth T20 International against New Zealand, despite not being included in the squad for the ongoing series.

Gill arrived in Auckland and participated in the nets session at Eden Park, where he spent time batting and interacting with teammates, including Punjab batter Abhishek Sharma. He was also seen chatting with head coach Gautam Gambhir and wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan.

India have already secured an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand. Gill, meanwhile, is preparing for his leadership responsibilities in the upcoming ODI and Test assignments against the Black Caps.
