Goa, May 12 -- Shivam Kolvekar, who was seriously injured in a major self-accident on the Kadamba Bypass Road in Old Goa, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on Tuesday.

The accident had occurred on Monday near the bypass road when the car driven by Shivam Kolvekar reportedly lost control and crashed into a pole.

Following the impact, Kolvekar sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he later passed away.

Further investigation into the accident is underway.
