Goa, Aug. 6 -- A security guard is feared dead after an old tree collapsed onto a security cabin near Kamat Kinara in Panjim on Thursday, trapping him inside.

The incident occurred when the tree suddenly fell on the cabin, leaving the guard pinned beneath the debris. Police and emergency personnel rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations to extricate the victim.

Authorities are working to clear the fallen tree and reach the trapped guard. The victim's condition has not yet been officially confirmed, although he is feared to have died in the incident.
