India, March 3 -- The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Quepem has invoked Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, restricting the movement of all persons and vehicles within a 500-metre radius of the overturned HP Gas tanker on NH-66 at Paremol, Barcem. The order has been issued to prevent any threat to human life and to maintain public order. Authorities have stated that the restrictions will remain in place until the site is declared completely safe by competent officials.
