Goa, May 19 -- Residents of Camrabhat and nearby areas in Tonca, Goa, are set to experience a scheduled power shutdown on Friday, May 22, 2026, due to maintenance work on a CSS transformer. According to the official notice, the electricity supply will remain suspended from 9:30 am to 5 pm as authorities carry out preventive maintenance and reconditioning work on the Camrabhat CSS Transformer.

The shutdown is expected to affect several areas, including the Government Primary School, Raikar Nursing Home and surrounding localities. Officials stated that the maintenance work is necessary to improve the functioning and reliability of the electricity infrastructure in the region.
