Goa, April 21 -- An 11-year-old boy was brutally killed at his home in Madhya Pradesh's Satna on Monday morning in what police believe was a revenge attack. The accused, 45-year-old Mathura Rajak, allegedly targeted the child after repeated marriage proposals to the boy's mother were rejected.

The victim, Shivraj Rajak, also known as Badal and a Class 5 student, was alone at home when the accused entered around 10:30 AM. Police said Mathura Rajak slit the boy's throat using a sickle, placed the body inside a blue plastic drum, covered it with clothes, and fled after locking the house.
