Goa, April 14 -- Truck operators in Sanvordem have urged the state government for relief measures as iron ore transportation is set to resume in the region. The demand was raised during a meeting of the Sanvordem Truck Owners Association, where members discussed the restart of ore transport operations by Fomento Resources from Kudegali to Sanvordem Junction.

During the meeting, truck owners expressed their readiness to resume operations but highlighted the challenges they continue to face after nearly 15 years of inactivity caused by the prolonged halt in mining.
