India, Feb. 28 -- Following the murder of a woman in a rented accommodation at Saligao, the accused has been remanded to seven days of police custody by the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court.

Police produced the accused before the court after the arrest in connection with the killing, which took place at a rented residence in Saligao. Investigators sought police custody to continue their probe and gather further evidence related to the case.
