Goa, Sept. 12 -- Renowned Konkani translator and Sahitya Akademi Award recipient Snehlata Bhatikar passed away at the age of 85 following a brief illness.

Bhatikar made significant contributions to Konkani literature through her acclaimed translation work and literary contributions. Her efforts helped enrich Konkani literature and broaden access to literary works through translation.
