Goa, June 6 -- Safety concerns have surfaced over the Four Pillars culvert in St Cruz following the death of a person in a self-accident at the site, with allegations of faulty infrastructure and inadequate safety measures.

Santa Cruz Panch Inacio Domnic Pereira has claimed that the culvert suffers from design flaws and accused the Public Works Department (PWD) of failing to provide essential safety features. According to Pereira, the absence of crash barriers and other protective infrastructure may have played a role in the fatal incident.

He further stated that he plans to file a formal complaint against the PWD, alleging negligence in the construction and maintenance of the culvert.
