Sacred Heart of Jesus Feast at Kurdi Celebrated with Devotion and Communal Harmony for 44th Consecutive Year
Goa, June 1 -- The Christian community of Kurdi, Sanguem, celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with great devotion and enthusiasm, marking 44 years of uninterrupted observance of the annual religious event.
Although the original chapel was relocated during the rehabilitation of Kurdi residents to Vaddem Colony No. 1, the faith and traditions associated with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel continue to thrive. Large numbers of devotees from Kurdi and various parts of Goa gathered to participate in the celebrations, reflecting the enduring spiritual significance of the feast.
